It's probably just coincidence that lexical analysis of employee email
and the "shoe-shine/lose some weight memo" came from the same set of
Beltway Bandits.
(what's the proper group term? A strategic partnering of integrators?)

However, the attitude evident in both can be found in places beyond
the beltway; there's currently a thread going on ONLINE-NEWS, an
online journalism list[1], about the impact of technologies such
as Assentor[2], PICS, RSAC, etc.
