I believe it's real. Someone in the networking group here posted a copy of the
article on a bulletin board the other day, and that's what I retyped it from.
I came up with the April 22, 1997 date from a search of the Trib. archives, but
that was partly a guess, since the good part was in a sidebar to another
article. The fellow who found it is out of the office today, but I've learned
from another networking type that it was probably in the Trib on 6/30 or 7/1,
which I may still have in a pile at home. I'll be looking for it ASAP!
