Well to me linux is richard the third. ITs an ugly suma bitch but man if
you want to win the war or learing systems and clis and networks and
the like its the tool to use...But now the war is nearing its end and
the dogs of war are being made to dance to the fair sounds of
flutes and market minstrels.
Linux at its best was the journey not the destination. When its time mag's
pick of the year top of the pops and doing CLIless versions, time to move
on. And there are places to move to .
Im not saying that the linux community should up and jump. Im sure many
folk will spend years of love and joy in the fields of linux...but for
many the harvest is already in..the tract houses are going up and the
mini malls are encrouching...Shit man, the flame wars over GUIS is enough
to drive ya batty. Guis??? Fuck that all. CLi for me on unixxxeee.
