Nearly 82% of U.S. public schools are connected to the Internet, according
to a study by Quality Education Data. And 96% are expect to be online by
the end of the next school year.
1. U.S. schools lack a strategy. According to the CEO Forum on Education
and Technology, a measly 3% of U.S. schools effectively integrate
technology into their educational programs. The forum says the remaining
97% fail to provide low student-computer ratios, on-site support and
high-speed access.
