Boy, I hadn't realized what a sense of humor the end2end list has.
Also, Fred Baker has been referring to satellite networks as "avian
carriers", making sly reference to RFC
1149<http://ds.internic.net/rfc/rfc1149.txt>, which explains why,
paradoxically, the MTU increases with age.
