* Two New York men have been arrested in connection with what police
have called the largest cellular phone scam of its kind.
- the men are accused of using a scanner to steal up to 80,000
cell-phone numbers from passing cars.
- police say that the cell-phone numbers are used to make cloned
phones, which can be sold for $500-1000.
