It's a 2-story single family house, with the first floor to yourself.
The layout is an L-shape:
--------------------- | *| * | | *| * | | St *| * BR | | *| | | \*| / ____| ------ \--/ - | | K __ | | *| | /| D | ------ | / |___| | | Ba | | LR |--------| | | | | | |____| U | | \ / | |__________\____/ |
* = closet
/ = door
U, D = stairs
Kitchen upstairs, Laundry + storage in the basement.
Moral: I use it as a Study and the other as a BR, but it could be used
as a 2BR. *'s are closet space -- pretty reasonable amts.
I use the alcove as a kitchenette: local fridge cache, microwave, toaster
oven, hotplate, ricecooker, etc.
Lots of bookcases, etc avail -- I can leave the furnishings there for the
summer as needed.
Frankly, if this works out at all for you, I'd like to negotiate the
the one-month gap just so Beth can have a housemate w/o stressing over
'someone new'.
I'm planning to go on a round-the-world tour in May, so I actually need
to settle the sublet issue ASAP
