I am glad to formally accept UCI's offer of admission to the PhD program beginning in Fall 1997.

I may want to begin my residency earlier, by June 1 for Summer 1997, but that decisions revolves around other negotiations for consulting contracts, bookwriting, travel, and so on. I hope the situation will be clarified by next week, and I will contact Dr. Taylor directly about this prospect.
