MICROSOFT, NETSCAPE FEUD THREATENS
TO FRACTURE HTML FOREVER

http://www.anchordesk.com/story/story_827.html

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) just announced
plans for extending HTML. But it's not moving far
enough, fast enough. And it's not standing up to
Microsoft and Netscape, who are trying to take HTML
hostage with proprietary extensions. *Of most concern*:
the feud over dynamic HTML, which threatens to fracture
the Web into separate camps.
