hadn't realized that the percentage of women entering the field
had declined so much :-( i would like to hear someone like
lucy suchman discuss the problem from an anthropologist's
standpoint. my suspicion is that computing is still seen
as a strangely "geekish" universe, and this is amplified
by the popular press....
any opinions?
