Do you know *when* you began to use the term for an online service? If
they trademarked the name for the CD, but only trademarked it for use in
the Software Publishing genre, and YOU were using Cinemania as a term for
an online service BEFORE they were, you can give them a little hassle. I
wouldn't tangle too hard with them, but if you can prove you were using
the term for an online service BEFORE the MSN came out (August of '95,
right?) -- AND they claimed trademark for the term after you were using
it, then you can tell them to bug off. You would, of course have to
complete the trademark registration.
Or you could just ignore them :) Methinks I worked for a Patent firm
*too* long. Oh yeah, I'm not an attorney. :)
