century. Or that every 3.15 seconds or so marks the end of another
nanocentury.

Of course, at these latitudes, the earth's rotation imparts at least a 700 mph
penalty on Rohit's forward progress. Fortunately, the same applies to Irvine.
Still, there's an oddly hamster-wheelish quality to our travels about this
lumpy oblate spheroid.
