Performance Art and Technology

One of my long held theories is that artists
often use their media to represent concepts that
aren't quite formal enough to explain in a theory
or even formalize in language. My friend sent
me this site which was kind of interesting.
The overview says that this Australian performance
artist "explores and extends the concept of the body and
its relationship with technology through human/machine
interfaces incoporating the Internet and Web..."
I used to attend the CHI series of conferences and
they'd include some performance art shows, but they
were always kind of affected artists acting out
technology stereotypes, annoying at best, abrasive
at worst. Anyways, I had fun toying with it.
