"The Body" Goes to Washington

I try not to comment too much on the state of politics in America -- especially until such time that I have earned the right to vote in this country. BUT as I listened to a talk radio show this morning and learned that Jesse "The Body" Ventura (see: http://www.kfan.com/jesse.html for a bio) had been elected the Governor of Minnesota, I decided to break this policy. The fact that a former WWF wrestler can become Governor of an entire state was just so over that the top that I had FoRK it (although I am sure that many of you may be aware of it by now). Although, I perhaps should not be surprised by this given the fact that in the past Americans have shown a proclivity for electing entertainment figures for public office. At least The Body is not so old that he is taking office just as Alzheimer's and dementia sets in...
