I grew up in the late 70's. It was a great place. You could go to downtown
for after hours clubs. You could drive down Whilshire Blvd. and not have it
look like Panama. Do you know that Whilshire and Alvarado has a special
ordinance that allows street vendors with push carts. It's a third world
country.
The streets are in total disrepair. It's just a shithole plan and simple.

I don't think L.A. eating shit will effect OC too much one way or the
other. OC went belly up and L.A. didn't do squat about it. The only thing
that I can see happeneing is the Police/Fire that live down here and work
in L.A. will look for jobs here.
