I asked y'all this a while back, with respect to Palm Pilot software,
and got some great recommendations. Now, the time has come to ask about
Windows software (in particular, Win2K software).
I'm trying to be less of a Unix zealot, and at least get familiar with
the Windows "culture". So, I've decided that I'm not going to install
linux on my new IBM T20 laptop (at least not yet :-)), as has been my
practice in the past.
What I'm looking for is recommendations on software that you, as a rule,
go download and install immediately, as soon as you bring up a new
Windows machine. Stuff you can't live without.
Please reply in private email, since I imagine the group at large
doesn't much care (you know, this isn't the right group for this, and
all :-P).
Thanks!
John
