Dear Mr. Muwakkil,
In your column in this morning's Chicago Trib, you used a rather unfortunate
homonym of incipient to describe the group of people to whom Ralph Nader
appeals when you wrote, "What's more, the 67-year-old consumer activist has
tapped into an insipient social movement that raised its voice even before
his candidacy came along."
Since I agree with the abstract thesis of your article, but see a vote for
Bush as the best path toward the ideals of the Libertarian party, I naturally
think of green/socialism as beyond the pale. I wouldn't call them stupid,
but I had a good laugh when you did. That was unintentional, wasn't it?
Best of luck to us all in at the polls tomorrow.
Cheers,
Wayne
