Computergram International: Hewlett-Packard Co yesterday introduced what it
claims is the first PC-based wireless application protocol (WAP) server,
offering a low-cost alternative to using HTML-to-WML conversion services
through a mobile operator. The Windows NT-based NetServer running Nokia's
WAPServer 1.0, costs $13,500 and is available now.
