Actually, a heck of a lot of the VWs sold in the US are made in Mexico,
including the new bug, at least according to a recent WSJ article I read, as
well as http://www.motortrend.com/march98/vw/vw3.html.

So I guess one more sign that we are indeed "soaking in it".
