I guess if enough "normal" people complain. We don't count.

Hey, it's their money. Office is the MS cash cow, not some OS or Internet
browser...
On another occasion, they also listened: The nice common controls that came with
IE are now available for redistribution outside of IE. Ok, so it took them 1/2
year, and a lawsuit threat. Maybe that's the only way to get them to listen to
their customers.
