I mean, come ON people... there are lots of things that made the American
Century and captured the American Imagination, but the only black holes were
the War on Poverty and the War on Vietnam... :-)
And least of all, who the hell invited SUN? No coroporate lobbying here,

Returning to seriousness, I'm always annoyed at the overuse of millennium.
Just because you have a cool new chip that's scheduled for 2001 delivery, I
can guarantee you it may be the 'chip of the decade', but it sure as hell
isn't a 'chip for the new millennium'. Call it one more vote for the long now
foundation... people are insanely myopic about time.

Millennial projects like the limeys -- I wonder how mych of the Lottery funds
