Here, here! "Towing Jehovah" [1] is one of the best novels I read last
year. (I kinda caught onto Morrow late in the game...) You know,
though, for somebody who professes to be an atheist, I have to confess
that I've been reading a whole lot of religiously-oriented / exploratory
fiction and nonfiction regarding the nature of "God," "the Devil,"
"evil," and so forth over the last few years. (Hey, I just want to have
an informed opinion in the inevitable debates. Sadly, I find that most
religious nuts "won't argue right." ;-) I've included a few pointers
below; I enjoyed all of these immensely, but sadly some of them are out
of print. Many of these are pretty light but still managed to be a
little bit thought-provoking. (Most of these are in the Judeo-Christian
slant, with brief excursions into Islam and other related faiths. If we
want to talk Eastern, I've got a different bib.)
