+ Apache Group Adopts Java Server Pages
The Apache Group has licensed Sun Microsystems Inc's recently
launched Java Server Pages technology for its widely used
Apache web server, and will incorporate the code into its own
open source licensing process. The move will see Java JSP and
servlet technology adopted on the web server with the largest
portion of the market, said Sun's Alan Baratz. Sun will keep
developers working on the technology itself, alongside
developers from the Apache project and from other vendors,
including IBM Corp and Oracle Corp.
