i'd hoped these notable exceptions i alluded to were obvious enough.
neal stephenson makes note of a funny historical irony in his new book
(_In_The_Beginning_...) - that the Japanese, once the fiercest fighters in
Asia, are now completely consumed with all that is cute, pathetic and
cuddly. is this justice? :-)
