Well, those protesters at the WTO Seattle meeting might point out some of
the labor conditions overseas and try to build a linkage between them and
"US Colonialism". Of course, fundamentally, many of those protesting enjoy
wearing inexpensive clothes and eating inexpensive food made/grown overseas,
so draw your own conclusions.
Personally, I find the argument a non-starter, but only because we americans
are such hypocrites.
