The ziff-davis online news site, ZDnet, has by now run a couple of
stories on the Microsoft NT flap in PCweek on-line, in addition to
an editorial in the Anchordesk section by Jesse Berst in which the
poor guy says that how shocked, *shocked* he is to discover that a
fine company like Microsoft has *cheated* its customers (with many
posts from an online forum which say the same thing, and a few pro-
Microsoft posts from the same forum, some of which actually say in
plain English that Gate$ has a right to be vicious and his victims
deserve it --- come to think of it, they very well may be right on
that second part).
I can't find anything on the subject on the c|net online news frob,
www.news.com, owned largely by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
Maybe PCWeek is playing it up too much. Maybe not...
