I've come to a fork (heh) in the road. The contract which was keeping
techmonkeys alive is gone. I have 2 paths before me:
Tech Monkeys Ltd goes into debt and tries to gain the customers they need to
generate the income needed to pay techs and interns
Cindy goes and works for a company and takes C classes, and puts off the
Techmonkeys thing for a while.
The problem w/ putting the TM thing on hold is that I have about 25 people
who are sharp as hell willling and happy to work for me.
Some would say to open up a consulting practice.
That's not what I want to do.
I have 3 main goals:
1. To support my family
2. To employ other people who want to support their families
3. To provide knowledge and information to the public, real time, then and
there, screw the muzak, for a price, of course.
So, the dilemma is this: There is a huge demand for this kind of service,
and I have the techs to provide it, but, guess what. Noone knows about
it.
I guess the question is: How do you get the word out that you have what
people need?
and
What would you do?
Cindy
