Slots is precisely the issue here. It only has one PCMCIA slot.
I love my Vaio 505. Partially because it's a japanese model with
the kana characters on the keyboard.

You could: 1 get a Parallel ethernet adaptor.
2 make an image of the cd on your hard disc (only works for
some games)
3 look into combined ether-scsi pcmcia cards. I recall that
there was at least one a few years back.
