This is so hilarious. Chomsky obviously has this model in this head of the
Internet as being a limited resource, like land, where if you fence part of
it off to be private, there's that much less left in the public part.
Well, if this is the case, perhaps we should declare 20% of the internet for
corporate use, and leave the remaining 80% for public use forever. Perhaps
with modest $5 entry/use fees, $10 if you wanted to use a web site
overnight.
