aw, come on. I've lived through an attempted robbery on the street
and countless attempted white-collar robberies, and the tire iron did
much more damage than the phone call, even though the call would have
cost me a lot more.
The kid was a thief, I'm not defending him, but defrauding a
corporation and those that gamble on it isn't a violent crime. If he
should get crucified, I should have had my hand cut off for not paying
my Science Fiction Book Club bill when I was a kid.
