Dude, I hear ya. I plead the "Netscape Defense." AFAICT, Netscape's
mechanism for determining how and when to wrap lines, if at all, is
completely nondeterministic. I've currently got the preferences set to
wrap outgoing text at 69 characters; I have no idea why it doesn't do
that consistently. (Even worse is the behavior when cutting and pasting,
and the interaction between wrapping of incoming and outgoing messages is
for shit.)
When are folks going to realize that we need a "reflow" tool as a standard
option on *anything* that involves text editing?
