It seems odd that first-class mail is the top producer
of revenue when the postal service seems to be run for
the convenience of the bulk mailer instead.
Going from twice- to once-daily delivery and imposing
lockbox hives are both things that inconvenience the
first-class mail user, but don't really affect anyone
whose main interest is broadcasting dead trees.
