I agree. I know a number of people that don't have CS degrees that
have one or more of the following:
1) Great problem-solving skills.
2) Lot's of experience
3) Indoctrination by masters.
Quite often these are arts majors, chemists, physicists. These
people are all possibly short on theory, but long on the practise.
I'd take these folk over a CS major 9 times out of 10.
