That is news to me. IEEE-USA's Paul Donnelly is very much on your side.
BTW, he does it much more intelligently than everything I have heard on this thread.
He actually got people like Linus Torvalds, Esther Dyson, Steve Wozniak and others
to sign his letter to Congress by deceiving them about the real goal.
But the whole thing is of couse only about staying cozy and warm in the current
jobs. Everybody looses without competition, and that is true in the labor market
as well.
With this, I intend to end this thread, since one person on the recpient list resorted
to personal attacks. I will not answer to any more emails on this topic.
