 I joined the list today and was asked to provide a brief introduction,
so I will.

 I'm just your general Web-tech guy. My current job is at Alerts.com,
where I'm leading a team that's designing and building a consumer Web
site that allows people to create alerts that notify them of content
changes on other Web sites. We're behind schedule.

 I've written a couple of computer books, I have a web log that
discusses all sorts of tech and political stuff at rc3.org, and I live
in Raleigh, NC. That's about it.
