(Sitting in my Aeron with the split Cramer ErgoInterfaces keyboard
attached to the arms) www.ergointerfaces.com if this sounds sexy to
you.
I predict that the SteelCase wonder chair will be a tad cushier than
the technically correct solidly supportive Aeron. I think you
could countersell against Aeron using a Pepsi Challenge methodology.
I probably don't need to remind people that Pepsi is sweeter and will
essentially always be chosen just because of that. It's a method
that requires in-person comparison (and being willing to display the
competitive product), but it's very powerful.
Next stop SteelCase. Ah, I feel vindicated. It's an Aeron clone,
with a cushioned seat. http://www.steelcase.com/userguides/leap/index.html
They're also taking on the lumbar support issue where Aeron is weak.
The Aeron lumbar support has infinite postion adjustment, but only
two intensity settings (and OFF, removing the thing altogether). I
find it the least satisfactory aspect of the thing.
