The word hacker was copted in the mid/late 80's. Most anyone using the
term after then is either talking from a historical vantage, of a rare

Its true, its true. Most of the folks "hacking" these days are reading off
of some thrice removed dcc'd phile of steps to take down XXX site.
Not that this is a bad thing, if you think of it as a Distributed Security
Testing System then it can be usefull.
