The large stag that terrorized a small Norwegian town for weeks has
been shot. "Sad, but we had no choice," said the local forester in
Aardalstangen. "People were becoming frightened of the big animal."
The buck had knocked over garbage cans at a child-care center, menaced
motorists, and earned his death warrant when he stole a chain saw.
