...been thinking about a CDDB-type approach to handle this problem. The problem
is that foreknowledge is needed. But the general idea is that one person would
schedule a recording manually, give it a name like "Gilmore Girls", and that bit
of data would be available to the cloud. Other people could then look up
"Gilmore Girls."
