Maybe it's a *genetic* engineering problem, but it's not about headsets.
As Joe noted, the problem wasn't that the driver lost control because he
had one hand on the wheel. The problem was that he is a thug, and
pathologically self-absorbed. He shot at the couple before they could
even talk to him.
