My perl hack http://www.apache.org/~fanf/htmlf/ has "server" mode
as well as "proxy" mode; in server mode you go to URLs like
http://htmlf.example.com/www.apache.org/~fanf and it rewrites
the hrefs so that any links you follow also go through
http://htmlf.example.com/. However htmlf is very slow and
configurable only with perl hacks.
