Depends on which users a site needs to attract. For Slashdot to alienate Netscape
users would be stupid, but for an intranet site which knows that its users are
mandated to use IE it makes sense. Since much of the cost of debugging
Javascript/DHTML/CSS etc is handling the matrix of browsers/OSs, project managers may
have good reasons to limit the size of the matrix.
