Um, ignore this. Too many beers; it ain't that
simple. Zero the bottom few bits when in user
mode (assuming, you haven't got a second ghost
CPU which is doing the admin stuff), unless any
of the other ones are high. Or something. One
has to minimize the number of gates the signal
has to pass through, these delays do add up.
(The thing is 4-5 years old, details are starting
to get more than a bit hazy. Even when I'm not drunk).
