Reafactoring is very popular among the lads around my office (led by
a CMU grad...).
I'm in marketing so books such as those make my ears smoke...
Although, I have apparently reached the level of annoyance with my
own program that it may be time for me to tackle it...
I sure wish there was a book that explained how to think like a
programmer, e.g., what are the essential, non-language, non-platform
truths about programming.
Our product lets meatheads like me program, but there aren't any
"learn to program" books out there except "VB for dummies"
(oxymoron?) type things.
There is a "learn to program your Mac" book coming out (maybe)...
