I need a few years to really synthesize my vast storehouse of information into knowledge.
I think I am capable of at least one really good idea, and the Ph.D. is a step in that direction. Simply making money is not neccessarily worth it.
I love this stuff, but somehow, I come across as the least likely to be accepted. No awards, no cut-throat GPA, no neatly squared away research experiences, no reams of publications, just creativity and a genuine breadth of interest that appears a chimera on paper.
