I am at SLAC. Why did your friends quit? Any still here? Were the ones 
who quit in PPA? Where are they now? (Are any at Google?)

My mom worked at SLAC for many years, mostly in the BaBar era. She has a 
lot of friends, some still there, some who are not happy with the 
changes there... some quoted in this article:
