[FoRK] Sudden increase in Windows flakiness??

Nothing like that over here. My daughter's computer was spontaneously 
rebooting a few weeks ago, but that actually did turn out to be a RAM 
problem. Took out the right DIMM and all was fine. Added a replacement 
DIMM and things still fine.

On the other hand, I couldn't find a Linux distro for my t42p that 
didn't keep locking up... tried a recent ubuntu and a recent fedora 
(fedora 8) with no luck. So I'm back to Windows there. So much for my 
perpetually long-term plan to stop running Windows. I've altered that to 
"never running vista".
