I probably give that to Obama, if for nothing else than for not making
his health plan mandatory. And for surviving a couple years teaching
at U. Chicago, which means you're either reasonably centrist to start
with, or you drift right by osmosis, or you have the thickest
skin/deafest ears on earth.

Additionally, the problem with Hillary (and what makes her so
susceptible to this particular form of Republican attack) is that no
one trusts her further than they can throw her. So she can *say* she
is a centrist (or, for a while, practically a warmonger) all she
wants, but when the right says she's actually a Marxist, people
believe it, because, again, no one trusts her.

(Which is why she'll never top 51-52% in a general election, if that.
Which is a big part of why I'll be voting for Obama in the primary.)
