I bought the comic book / manual via LuLu, but haven't had a chance  
to play w/ it much.

I'm interested in all of these "simplified interactive dev  
environments" that are popping up lately:  Processing (Java,  
unfortunately), NodeBox (python, derivative of DrawBox by way of  
Processing), Shoes, and so on...

I think these are existence proofs in a sense that better interactive  
shell-like tools are needed, for which neither current-gen CLIs (too  
impoverished) nor IDEs (too monolithic, giant "software jails") suffice.
