I think, for starters, that we should assign all blame for murders not linked to a specific religion, to atheism. That makes total sense.

Ok, its all the fault of the religion. So, what do we do? Release the
father from prison and not prosecute under the "religion is evil"
defense and go after Mohammad, Jesus, Mecca, Vatican, Varanasi ?.
